SEO FAQ

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimisation. There are many layers to SEO, as its very complex. It’s not a simple set and forget process.

We incorporate SEO into all our builds but to achieve the best results with SEO you need months of ongoing work, especially in a competitive SEO niche.

You don’t need it unless you want to rank higher on search engines and want more organic website traffic.

You also don’t need it if you aren’t interested in new clients coming to your website.

…we hope that made it clearer.

No, and you should beware of anyone who claims they can guarantee you a top position.

Search engines have their own individual algorithms that are constantly changing and we have no control over them.

We are active in the SEO community and keep up on all the latest SEO news and algorithm updates.

We can promise to do our very best for you and your business and generally we do pretty well but we cannot guarantee results as that’s simply not possible.

It depends on a lot of factors. We provide initial SEO configuration on all the websites we develop, but we have no control over Google.

It takes time and ongoing work to get to page 1 for competitive Keywords and even once you get to page 1 it takes work to stay there. Google is always changing

Nobody can truly say how long it will take for your website to appear at the top of the search engine results page, not even the staff who work at Google.

There is plenty of paid advertising options online including social media ads, directories and Pay-Per-Click (PPC) with Google Ads

Organic Search is the organic results and cannot be paid for.

SEO is not the easiest of the fastest SEM channel as factors such as the phrase (Keyword) you are trying to target will be more difficult if there is a high number of other websites that are also targeting that particular keyword.

Can I do my own SEO?

Yes you can, to learn more about SEO, the first step would be to start with taking a course – We recommend SEMRush Academy Courses

If you found us via Google, that’s great! We spend 10hrs a month on our website to keep our site there.

What is a Keyword?

A keyword or keyphrase is what someone uses to search on Google. ‘Nowra Cleaner’ is 1 Keyword ‘cleaner in Nowra’ is a different keyword.

A competitive keyword would be something like ‘Nowra Builder’ as it will be a bit of a battle to get the top spots as you are competing in a saturated market.

What can I do to help my SEO?

Creating unique and interesting content on a regular basis for your website is critical to increasing your visibility amongst search engines.
